Become a Qualified Trainer of Drug Test Collectors. This course meets the regulatory standards of the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Rule 49 CFR Part 40 and provides a solid foundation for training collectors for a wide range of testing programs.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COURSE UNTIL YOU HAVE MET THE REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (LISTED BELOW) AND CAN PROVIDE PROOF OF COLLECTOR TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE TO THE NATIONAL DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING ASSOCIATION (NDASA). The course is password-protected. You will receive the password once all prerequisite documentation has been provided to NDASA or your learning site administrator. 

COURSE PREREQUISITES

To take this course and receive trainer certification upon completion, a participant must:

1. Provide proof of current collector certification (Keep in mind, under DOT Rule 49 CFR Part 40 Section 40.33, collectors must complete refresher training including mocks every five years.) Please send all materials to training@ndasa.com or your learning site administrator.
2. Have been performing collections for at least one year, including federally mandated collections.
3. Submit a letter of recommendation from a client or supervisor to training@ndasa.com or your learning site administrator.
4. You must have read and be familiar with the following: 49 CFR Part 40: Subparts C, D, E, I, and R, Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy Compliance interpretations and Q&A and DOT Urine Specimen Collection Guidelines.

Successful completion of the training:

• certifies participants for five years to train employees in your company or organization to become a certified Drug Test Collector
